Claude Code is Anthropic's coding-agent application, available through terminal, IDE, desktop and web surfaces. It can read project files, propose edits and use tools under the session's permissions. It is not one fixed Claude model, and access paths differ by account and deployment.
CLAUDE.md supplies project instructions; MCP connects external tools. Neither is a guarantee of complete repository understanding or safe execution. Auto, Manual and other modes approve actions differently, so configure the actual environment, inspect changes and validate the result. This directory has not installed Claude Code, run a refactor or compared it with another agent.
