Code, model and service licensing

MIT permits commercial use/modification/distribution with copyright and license notices, without warranty. It grants no blanket rights to model weights, tools, retrieved material or user inputs/outputs. Provider and tracing policies govern transmitted data; local deployment does not establish no training or zero retention.

Basis and limits of the recorded score

Original 4.4/5 retained; no original scoring worksheet or hands-on evidence was available. Documentation does not validate this score.

Overview

DeerFlow 2.0 is a LangGraph/LangChain agent harness for research and artifact workflows, with subagents, skills, MCP tools, memory and sandbox-aware execution. It is a rewrite; the 1.x branch remains maintained. The security policy does not promise an official stable release.

Operating it requires configuring models and tools, controlling command/file access and managing state. External LLMs, search, optional remote memory and tracing can transmit data. Traces may contain full prompts and outputs; local Monocle files do not automatically rotate. Sandbox isolation depends on deployment configuration.
