An official notice updated October 9 says that, starting June 18, 2026, Gemini CLI requests through Google login for Individuals and Google AI Pro/Ultra stopped, with Antigravity offered for migration. README and quota pages still list older personal quotas; those figures do not establish current sign-up rights. API-key and Vertex paths are separate. Code Assist Standard/Enterprise stopped new subscriptions October 9; existing contracts continue on the documented sunset schedule, not an immediate closure of every CLI path.
