Overview
Haystack composes components into retrieval, indexing and agent pipelines. Integrations and asynchronous execution are documented capabilities, not proof that every model, data source or workload works without adaptation. Hayhooks HTTP/MCP serving and deepset Enterprise offerings are separate layers.
Use the code when you can own documents, evaluation, storage and deployment. Telemetry is enabled by default and supports an opt-out. The current source records component types/names and optional custom telemetry payloads; an older documentation example is not proof that every custom component excludes content.
