Height sells itself as the autonomous project management tool, and the design follows: issue lists, chat threads and AI are merged into one workspace so the spec for a piece of work, the argument about it and the tasks from it sit together instead of being split between a tracker and Slack. Its AI drafts and expands specs and runs routine work on autopilot, not merely finishing sentences, and it connects to the tools a product team already uses. It positions itself between Linear and Jira for teams that want the conversation inside the work.

If your team argues in Slack and then re-types the decisions into a tracker, Height is the way out of that tax, because it wants the issue to live beside the thread: it suits small product teams who value that flow over raw keyboard speed. It is a weaker fit for a Linear devotee unwilling to trade the faster, quieter interface, and it is not a Slack replacement; it replaces the which-channel-is-this-in cleanup, not team chat. The bigger caution is company status. We could not load height.app to confirm it still operates or to read current pricing, so verify availability, terms and continuity before standardizing on it; a pitch that reads well on paper is worth little if the product has quietly stopped shipping.
