Pricing or terms sourceCode, model and service licensing
Fin is hosted software access, not a source/weights license. AI inputs and outputs are Customer Data: the customer keeps relative rights, must authorize content and connected-system actions, and receives no exclusive rights over similar results. Terms permit service improvement including Intercom model training, with separate continuing anonymized/usage-data rights. Fin describes anonymized fine-tuning opt-out and deletion within 30 days; third-party providers' no-training/ZDR restrictions cover that provider path, not all Intercom storage. Required AI disclosure, DPA, external-platform terms and order govern; termination data-access loss is not proof of universal deletion. Review the applicable account's scope before sensitive data.
Basis and limits of the recorded score

Overview
Fin uses authorized knowledge, guidance and configured Procedures to answer customers, retrieve data or take actions through connected systems. Teams can simulate behavior, publish to supported channels and examine outcomes. Its current scope includes supported external helpdesks as well as Intercom; the former statement that it only suits existing Intercom users is no longer supported.
Configure escalation and billing definitions together. Since March 12, 2026, the vendor has used Outcomes rather than only Resolutions. An assumed resolution can mean no further help was requested, and a successfully configured procedure handoff can be billable even though a human completes the work. These definitions are not independent evidence of correct answers or successfully closed tickets.
