Overview

Mixamo is the motion pack everyone actually uses: upload a biped, auto-rig, pick a walk, download FBX. It is older than the generative 3D wave and still the fastest path to “the character moves.” Cascadeur authors; DeepMotion captures; Mixamo lends.

Clips look like Mixamo. That is the cost and the point. For a prototype and a game jam it is free infrastructure. For a hero that must not look like every Unity tutorial, you will leave. Until then, skipping Mixamo is wasting a day of rigging.
